Error 105A

Error 105A when registering

Error  105A indicates an incorrect serial number is being registered. This usually happens when you have the wrong module or product installed. Exampled: You have the Calendar View Plus Module (CVP) installed but you purchased a license for Opportunity List Plus (OLP).  Our web store will email you the OLP serial number based on your purchase. When you use the OLP serial number to register CVP you will get the 105A error.

To correct this error:

1) Uninstall the current modules.

2) Go to our Evaluation Page and install the evaluation module you have purchased.

3) Restart ACT! and enter you serial number to register.

Error  "NUMBER is registered to..."

The "NUMBER is registered to..." error occurs when you have exceeded the amount of times you can register this serial number. If you are registering this number on a second computer you need to purchase an additional license from our web store at Web Store.

If you are re-registering your serial number on a new computer please email support@DurkinComputing.com. They will re-issue your existing serial number for your new hardware. Remember to include your current serial number and the email address it is registered to in the email.

Please make sure you have the correct product installed. The product's name is displayed at the top of the splash screen seen below.

Windows "UAC"

Microsoft windows has an options for User Account Control. It sometimes block software from registering correctly. If you turn OFF your UAC to register our software we suggest you turn is back ON immediately.
