Uninstall Durkin Add-ons

Sometimes you may need to uninstall to re-install a Durkin add-on. Since all Durkin add-ons use Windows installation technology you can go to your CONTROL PANEL-> ADD / REMOVE PROGRAMS to uninstall.

If you are performing a new installation please follow these steps to reset ACT before re-installing.

RESET ACT's dependent file
Sage ACT! sometime incorrectly marks a plugin to be bypassed. When we delete this file ACT! will re-evaluate all the files in the plugin folder.
  1. Open   "C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Application Data\ACT\ACT For Windows X" where "X" is your version number.
  2. Delete the file named "DependentDlls.xml"
For Windows 7 users.
  1. Open "C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT Data"
  2. Delete the file named "DependentDlls.xml"

Update ACT! .NET configuration
Your Sage ACT! .NET configuration may need to be updated.
  1. Open  "C:\Program Files\ACT\ACT for Windows\"  or "C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\" if you are running windows in 64 mode.
  2. Launch the MachineConfigUpdater.exe application.
This application is like a batch file and only takes 1-3 seconds to run.
